Don't know if its been suggested before but what about trying to set up a regional directory for members that would be willing to help each other undertake repairs on their vehicles?
Only say regional because of the logistics of travelling distances to each other to offer help.
Initially my thinking was diagnostic help from peeps that know how to make it work to assist novices that struggle. Who knows, might develop into group spanner partys all with a common cause to keep their Fiats running at minimal costs.
