You bast*rd! I'm jeleous. I've wanted mine done for ages but there's always something else that needs money spent on it! :( Hopefully I'll be selling my VW camper in a few months, that should give me some money to get it done  I can only imagine what that sort of power in a Punto feels like, hope you're enjoying it as much as I would.

What would it take your one up to? 150bhp? Sounds like fun :p Just wish the Mk2b didn't have an ugly front end and that I could have afforded to get one :(

Sorry but I own a mk2b and would take the mk2 styling over the 2b any day. It really does have the 'German' effect going on.

I would like a mk2 with the 2b's MJTD lump under the bonnet :D

Oh and as for recommending the remap, I say YES YES YES YES YES (y)

ps, Mark is that your speedo going off the clock that I see in your avator? :worship:

When I spoke to Mark on Sunday he said that he wanted to go work for Angel Tuning.

iirc his words were "get paid to rag someone elses car around for a couple of hours" lol

Yeah you're right WRP, totally forgot.

Big thumbs up to Andy from Angel Tuning (y) Was super helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. When he put his foot down for the first time after the remap I had the biggest grin on my face! :D Just wish I wasn't so impatient to take it out and had asked for a ride in the Doblo :yum: From the sounds of it that thing is a monster

Nice one (y)

So what actually went on? I know theyre a generic remap (ie a RR isnt used) but you say the car was being driven for a couple of hours lol! Was he messing with settings to find the best for you?

Do you get a free sticker aswell? :D

It wasn't being driven for 2 hours, but I would say thats about how long it was from when he first arrived to when he left.

Well first of all he read the fault codes and stuff, took about 10 minutes to sort that out, the then he cleared them. Had about 4 iirc, the only one I could remember is a diesel pressure error
Then he said he had to analyse the current map and that it would take about 15 minutes, so I went indoors and watched TV while he sat in the van and did that.
Then we went out for a drive, found a quiet private road and did some 0-60 and 0-80 tests, and I guess he was testing the clutch too. That took about 20-25 minutes as we did quite a few runs, and after that we went into a street and pulled over. He then plugged his little Gameboy thing :)p) into the ECU and remapped it. Didn't realise what he was doing until he started it up again and pulled away  Spun it in first, into second and stopped at the junction.
He said to me, "That was a bit different, wasn't it?" and I was like "Ooohhh yes" :D lol
We then did some 0-60 and 0-80 tests after the remap, and then he let me take it for a spin :D
Oh the fun I had! Nearly killed us going round a corner too fast as I didn't realise the speed it could do  Then I took us back and he dumped some injector cleaner in and asked if I wanted some stickers. I took 2 silver ones and he suggested I take a black one too to stick on my Strut Brace.
Then I paid the man and had a quick chat about the Doblo, said farewell, and took it out for a drive :D
