My wife's 07 1.6 petrol has developed an intermittent fault on 3 occasions over a period of 2 weeks the car has sudden loss of power (limp mode), the engine light comes on.. turn off and restart engine runs perfectly engine light goes off.
has anyone else experienced this problem?

Experienced this on the 1.9 diesel a few times. Could be the diesel particulate filter or a turbo problem. Not sure what the position is with petrol.
