HI I have a 2007 scudo panorama 120 multijet and have had to change the egr valve twice in the last 2 years, my questions are can I get the egr valve blanked off, will it run ok like this and how do you do it.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

cannot really help, I've had mine 18 months without issue, would like to take off egr valve and clean it, could you tell me how to get at it, what the jobs like. Try some egr cleaner, not sure if you can blank these off without issues.

Hi.i have an 06 plate 16v jtd,blanked mine off it 100% better,,but yours i believe helps start the process of cleaning the dpf filter in the cat so it cannot be blanked.i could be wrong but i believe a sensor tells egr that the dpf(diesel particulate filter) needs cleaning or is blocked and uses exhaust gasses to increase temperature to burn and clean the filter,remove and clean is best option or buy them in bulk as there prone to go,guessing its a high miler,
