Posts: 879 Thanks: 69 Trader Rating: 0 ![]() | Today, I got my exhaust leak fixed and she is running 100% The join between the manifold and down pipe was leaking so bought new exhaust studs and gasket and got one of the fiat techs to sort it for me this morning. Also fitted new genuine fiat discs and pads a couple of weeks ago. I'm in two minds about the bodywork- there are 2 very very light scuffs on the back bumper corners, and the bonnet has a few stone chips. I took it into the bodyshop at work and they seem to think I should leave it original and not get them painted- as far as they can tell it's never had paintwork done in its life after the factory! Also my list of jobs seems to be getting smaller- Underseal- bought Paint back bumper corners/ bonnet (maybe) Replace drivers mirror (has a scuff on it) Drivers seat repair (piping is worn) Timing belt- bought, yet to fit Full Service Cam belt cover- mine is burst Engine deep clean/ paint Screenwash lid- bought as mine is missing

Mine also had a manual sunroof, it didn't have an airbag but it had the stereo controls for the steering wheel where as my elx has an airbag and just horn buttons.

As well as all that it had the headlamps and front bumper from a sporting as standard at least the 85 elx did. Also my late model one had both the steering wheel controls and the airbag, and the dealer fit 6 cd changer.
