i just went to halfords and bought black fiat punto paint lol its the exact colour too

i will buy some colour coded ones for about £30 so any1 that can get handles (im sure they are easily detahced:p) and spray them for me i will buy:)

paint code to follow....

The handles are not easily detached... i looked into taking mine off when i was doing the colour coding, did them on the car in the end, as taking them off involves removing the entire door card and undoing them from the inside

i need to do that at some point anyway(n)

but im gnna give it a stab with the old paint.

any precautions weather wise?

Yes. Do it in a garage lol.

The paint has to dry for 24 hours at least before you apply the lacquer, i dont think its wise to leave it outside overnight with just the paint on, weather will probably undo your hard work.

if you dont have a garage borrow a gazebo from someone, they make a great temporary garage (y)

ye i didnt even check to see if they came off lol i couldnt be bothered lol i just stuck lots of newspaper all over my car lol

lol this makes it a bit harder.

i have a garage (too small)

gazeboo (to much effort to put up:()

i will get it done eventually

lol i did mine in my drive way lol i hadf enough space i think lol

I had to give my garage a proper sort out before i could get my car in there. Its a double garage, and it was so full of s***e you couldnt move inside! Took half of the contents to the tip. Now one side is car-friendly, and the other is nicely organised (y)

Also only space to do one side at a time, so i had to do one side, then get the car out and reverse it back in to do the other side. AND i had to take teh wingmirrors off to get it in :p
