i have bits about it in other threads all over the forum, but some has missed them so best i do its own thread.
the other day i was driving down the M11 and lost forward gears.
turns out planetary gears in my gearbox have gone, don't know why because they only share the load, they do only 40% of the work to make car go forward. they are £600 new just for the part
the man who took my gearbox to box to bits has now found through his contacts a box that has only done 9k miles, so i having that
also as the box and engine was took out together, so as the engine is already out thought may as well put it all back together with a newer 1.4 stilo engine that has only done 25k miles, as it will be the same amount of work because of my engine already being out :slayer:
