Trying to find a picture of where the exhaust downpipe bracket bolts to the engine, my previous downpipe didn't have one, and it sheared off on the way to work, spoke to a friend who said they normally have a bracket to help support the weight, picked up a new downpipe today as the old one couldn't be repaired, and it came with a bracket.

The bracket is a collar which clamps around the pipe and has a flat arm with a bolt hole a bit like this:

But looking under the car I can't see how it could attach on, I also can't see any pictures either on the eper or online of where it would bolt to?

I think I'm going to have to make a bracket myself, but can anyone point out where it's normally mounted to on the 1.2 8v mk2 engine, thanks.

Can anyone advise where exactly on the engine this should bolt to, as I don't see anywhere obvious, thanks. A picture with an arrow would be great.
