my friend and i want to debadge my car and paint the boot and mirrors and bumpers and want to know the colour code and need to know where about it is on the car and we go about getting the colour right for it. do i need to add anything to the paint to match the current paint or will it just need t-cutting to make the old paint look new too.

and also am i being stupid letting my friend who has just bought and air compressor and has nevere painted a car and wants to do my car. i mean its only my first car and want to experiment with and he is going to do his before mine which he has a saxo so he cant ruin it any more then it was when it came of the production line lol sorry to all those who have a saxo but they are not as good as a punto.

is there any one out there that can import some pics of there paint jobs being like a flush boot or even a repainted panel to something like a two tone, flip paint. any images will be help greatly.

Silver sticker on the underside of the boot lid - usually.

On the punto im sure it's on the under side of the bonnet, sei's have it in the boot..

On the boot on almost every other model.. Tipo, Bravo, Brava, Marea... Just assumed they would stick with the theme.

so what am i looking for a number or a code or a word wat......... im really confused and im loking in the bonnet yeah

Sorry, your correct Hellcat for the mk1 punto it is on the boot lid, the mk2 though has it on the underside of the bonnet.

so me having a punto mk1 means that my colour code will be on the boot lid. ok so what m i looking for again. a number or a code or a word. i have no idea sorry people bare with me im getting there lol

If you have a mk1 punto look for a sliver sticker or plate underside of the boot lid as Hellcat said, if your got an mk2 punto though it should be on the underside of the front bonnet, it will either have Paint or Colour (i would think) on it and next to it will give you a code for example Paint:87A-8
