Hi all, hope you can help, I've got a punto mk1 and just installed some chrome angel eyes. Looking good! :) but a few probs, the indicators didnt work  but sorted that!
Also the side light blubs blow when they are switched on! :bang: Thats three blubs I've lost now, any one had the same problem? how can it be sloved? I've got white L.E.Ds in at the moment but thats not much good as M.O.T time is soon!

Even tho the L.E.Ds are white, the packaging says there not road legal!
Ive checked the wiring on the old lights and they seem exactly the same as the angel eye lights  except for the halo which I wired up myself to the side lights. I wonder if im using the right side light blubs because none where supplied with the lights. The original blubs where 12V 5W I think, but they look to short when there fitted into the light casing. Any ideas?

my sidelight bulbs are code 501 (from halfords) 12v 5w i think, ive got a mk2, but im pretty sure they r the same 4 the mk1!

The halo, l.e.d and sidelights should all be wired into the sidelights and should come on together...is that how you have them set up?

I have mine wired this way,the blue halos, and l.e.d's are wired into the sidelights, this making all of them come on with one click of stalk, and then main beam as normal,

no probs!

i didnt have to put any bulbs in other than the indicators either, all is good!

Sorry to go back to this again, just realised how to add attachments! lol
Any one with angel eyes can you look at the side light photos, and see if yours looks like mine? Im sure the blub/l.e.d should stick further into the light housing, thats why I thought i might have the wrong blub! Any ideas?

I can just see the blub on your photo, thanks that helps. Thought I just bought some dodgy lights thats all! Just gotta find out why the side light blubs are blowing now, someone said use resistors -but I haven't a clue which ones
