Hi all , i have a "y" reg punto 1.2, had the head gasket done last week at Fiat, they did what was expected you expect a main dealer to do. Anyway picked up the car on last fri, drove great , no probs at all. Sat i thought i would go on the moterway for a run but as i was about four miles from home the engine magement light flickerd on for about five seconds. The car did not feel any difreent when it did this but decided to nip it in to Fiat . They put it on the tester and said it was logged as a "generic" missfire and that it was probably due to the pressure wash that they did on the engine and that some moisture may have got into something. Anyway i took the car on the moterway after it did the same thing a few times, same thing thought no problems with the running. Sunday used the car all day, no probs , no light so i thought it was gone. Today tuesday, coming home from work and i spotted the light flicker on for about two seconds. What do you think this could be? Should i give it more time or whip it back to fiat? cheers
