True but the insurance company may not insure you after you have passed. My GF was insured on a Sedicivalvole while learning (lucky thing) but when she phoned up her insurance company to tell them she had passed they said they could no longer insure her. This would have been a bummer since she would have lost 10 months of no claims however we found another car to insure.

Be under no illusion the cost goes up a huge amount. We're talking usually 200% original quote. If you get a quote of 1500 then expect something near 3 grand.

Mine doesnt, im taking my test in a couple of months time. Ive been driving with my dad in since i insured it in september, but im on my own insurance ??? and when i pass i dnt get charged any extra as far as i know
