Bought a 2000 punto about two years ago now. soon after i got it it started dropping two cylinders and showing the engine management light every now and again. brought it to fiat and had new coils put in. this fixed the engine dropping two cylinders. however the engine management light keeps coming on every time i do a journey over about 45 minutes. i've also noticed that the engine fan comes on when this happens and that accelleration is sluggush. have brought it to fiat lots of times about this and they've charged me over £600 quid for 2 new ECU's and 2 new water temperature sensors and numerous checks but the light still comes on.

really don't want to go back near fiat cause they don't seem to have a clue and wouldn't give me a courtesy car so that they could hold onto mine for a few days.

any help anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated at this point!
