Hi All
I have a fiat punto active sport 2004 1.2 8v. As anyone had this before? I've attached 2 pictures. one picture shows the handbrake and power steering warning lights lit up and other one shows the same lights but with the side lights on the engine is not running but it's the same fault with the engine running. I've done a code fault read but nothing showing up. radio is the standard radio but i think the person before may have put his own in at one time. Am think of maybe trying the disconnect the battery method and see if that will solve it, but in case not what do you think it may be?
Many thanks
pat

Is the power steering working?
Have you checked the brake fluid reservoir level with the strainer out?
Have you checked that the handbrake switch is adjusted properly and working?

thanks for the reply..
power steering is ok....brake fluid is also fine

thanks for the reply Ziggy122 think that's my next job. Would you know if I take the battery off will I need to enter a code for the radio when i re-connect the battery?

in thoery no but yes

i've lost my code before from disconnecting the battery and removing the stereo
But sometimes its fine and didnt ask for it when disconnecting the battery or stereo

Not to worry - donate £1 to the forum and then find Davrens thread on Radio codes - he'll get yours from the seriel numbers

Those lights come on when the side lights are switch on?
Or is it there from the start?
