Pop the bonnet and look up for a silver sticker, it should say there, failing that, on the mk2s they only released two reds which are as follows:

Rosso Tiziano (199)
Rosso Scilla (132)

The image below should help you out with which one you have either the solid red or metallic red:

Anyone know what the paint code is for my 02 red punto. straight red.
In 2002/3 the non-metallic paint for the Punto 1.2 8v was (in Italian) 'Rosso Tiziano'. It translates as 'Titian Red' and you also see it half-translated as 'Tiziano Red'. Fiat's paint code is 199A. My 2003 model is this colour and there seem to be no other plain, non-metallic reds from this period. [Titian was the famous 16C Italian painter of, in particular, Catholic cardinals in their red costumes.]
