Ive seen a picture of someones MK2 punto sporting with a centre arm rest but after trawling ebay i couldnt find one?

Are they readily available or do you have to adapt another one to fit?

there not a readily available part, they may hav had it custom made if u saw the pic on here i'd pm them about it

Do you thing something like this configuration can be fitted in Punto MK2(it won't be the same as this one, but i'm just wondering if something with this kind of a mounting on can be done on Punto MK2 as these are called universal armrests)

u'd have to look at wot u could mount it to needs to be soild, also if ur mounting it in the middle of the chairs it may interfere with seat ajusters on the sides

why fit an armrest. thats what the gearstick or ur knee is for. lol.

i agree - if you need an arm-rest
then your sitting badly

If your uncomfy driving - spend 10mins just adjusting the seat and get comfy

Well i agre also with you but I'm just used to having an armrest and now its not so good. So you think i would be a difficult job to put something like the one that i posted as it will in the way of the adjusters of the seats.

yup. not to mention the problems fixing it to the handbrake console due to the shape of it. only way i can see it fitting is by fixing it to the chassis or whatever below the console, but still leave u the problems of seat adjusters. the seating position of the punto is pretty good so u should be comfortable if ur seat is adjusted correctly. other option would perhaps fit new seats with rests already fitted. adding to the cost and potential problems with fitting them.

And if i drew holes there to make it fit will there be some cables that i can damage. How do you think :? I don't care if the adjusters of the seats will be difficult to use, but I'm afraid if drilling hole in the center behind the handbreak that i will cut sum wires. How do you think.

well, if u just fix it to the handbrake console, take it off to fit it. that way u wont be damaging anything other than the console itself.

Well thx a great idea. Which i have thought about it. I would like to ask you on fiat punto MK2 i have right next to the handbreak two rectangle small holes. Do you think i can use them for the arm rest and what is there purpose :?

Yes this one i found also but it looks to expensive for me and this is the problem. The one that are so called universal don't have this oval shape to be fitted. My big problem is whether I will be able to somehow set in as the one you showed.
