How do people!! im hoping there are some genius's out there to help me with my mk1 fiat punto 55s few days ago the fuel injector light came on and stayed on and the car was running like a tractor but it only did this when the engine was hot, it was perfectly fine when it was cold so today i went scrappers got a lambda sensor £20 fitted it drove round for ages car..... fine but when im driving occasionally the car will like pull back when i change gear :S:S then will speed back up but ive had no sign of the fuel injector light what could this be im thinking:

-injectors need a good clean (injector cleaner)
-new ht leads/sparks

thats basically all ive got please if youve got any ideas please let me no urgently im losing patience with the punto :bang::bang::bang:

If the problem persists how old are the coil packs?

Change the plugs first, sometimes car can hesitate and hold back with old plugs, when you take these out take note of the colour and it can tell you whether there are more problems with the car, i.e. if they are oily etc.

If that doesnt work upgrade HT leads too.

Check your air filter is clean.

put a new air filter on today the problem still does what i explain it likes holds for a second the shoots forward im going to get some ht leads and spark plugs if i get these and fit them and the problem is still there what else could i do?
