The gap should be about 3mm and they should be at the right gap already, also that tool is a feller gauge by the way.

cheers Jack, got some now I'll get 'em fitted.....

Like the colourful signature by the way (y)

You've had a beemer? why you got a Punto haha

Jack you asked but its a long story..... (y)

Before the Punto I had an E30 as my daily hack again I got a basic car and modified it tastefully as I dont like standard looking cars, finished product below;-

That went as petrol prices were going through the roof and was driving 1,000miles a week in a 2.5l  not economical.(n)

My wife was due a new car and she got the A3, her folkes had her old car and I took cash and their unloved Punto for it. As in my thread Colour Coded in my signature when I got it looked very boring not what I wanted to drive so things changed hence this is now my daily driver still to finish it, WiP. ;)

The M5, well I always have a wkd toy, had Evos, TVRs etc, the M5 has finally sold, petrol prices didnt help but now someone who shows cars has bought it as he said it was the best he'd seen.

I am now looking to replace it with either Jaguar E Type S1 FHC 4.2 or and an AC Cobra Replia with a 5.0l Mustang or 5.7l Chevvy engine in :slayer:

Which ever I end up getting i'll load some pics (y)

So thats the story, how long the Punto will last I dont know ;)

That beemer was beautiful, i just love something about german engineering, you know if you buy german its going to be reliable but yeah but your sensible by buying a small litred car for cheap runnings costs. I feel stupid now i gave you the wrong information on the spark plug gaps:( it should be 0.8mm but the new ones should be at the right gap. those ngk spark plugs any good?
