both hubby and i passed first time, no faults, and we'd both had 23 lessons. beat that for a coincidence. we were also both 17 and this was before we had met.

Paul you didnt happen to take it in Penzance and have a grumpy git with glasses did you? He failed me twice on stuuupid reasons, like not over taking a cyclist on that single track bridge by the harbor when cars where coming in the opposite direction! 3rd time lucky for me.. I had the notorius 'Dale the Fail' at 8.40am on Jan 2nd. I think he must have been hung-over... test lasted half an hour... i almost ran over a pedestrian on a crossing but passed anyway! Had a pretty red Clio turbo diesel. (RAY ELEY RULES!)

Passed 1st time, 4 minors.... learnt in a Corsa, in true BSM stylee. £22 a lesson tho, and most were at night in the rain [:0]

LOL BSM are the biggest ripper offers ever! I paid £12 an hour for my second instructor after i failed twice with my first one... he had a %98 first-time pass rate. Had 3 lessons with him and i passed! (Yes i only had 6 before the first two attempts!) My mate went with BSM and they made him have 42 lessons before they'd let him take the test! He's one of the best drivers i know as well. Booooo hiss to BSM!

Had a Cinq, bought a new Clio, so now I don't have a Cinq.

Its true, BSM will rip you off major style, but, you always get a brand new car as BSM change their cars every 4 months now. I had 2 different cars while i learn't. Really helped when i got the 2nd, cos the first never had air-con £22 gets you an hour, but also gives you unlimited time at the BSM centre, which i never bothered to go to, but has a really cool driving simulator. WIsh i would have gone now!

heh, i just moved from a 1.8 megane to a 1.2 clio and my test is next monday :I

clio much easier to drive, but im still in 3rd going 30mph, im still in 1.8 mode []
