Has anyone else had the problem of the springs in the back part of the drivers seat breaking its the second time its happened, and the last time i had to have a hole new centre consol as fiat are so highly skilled that they totally wrecked it removing the seat can see the same happening again

I have a 57 Plate 100HP and noticed the other day that there was a buldge on the back of the seat and sometimes clicks when you sit in it. seems like a plastic spring broken. I have spoke to fiat and they are going to look at it.

Does anyone know if this would be covered by the third year dealer warranty

Think it might as last time mine broke im sure it was third year, and mine was covered, but to be honest a car seat should longer than three years init. mines booked in this friday to be looked at.
but if you get them to do it make sure you check the inside of your car for damage as fiat seem to smash everthing around wot ever job it is they are doing lol.

Sorry to hear this, it sounds like a bad repair to me. Time to get on their case, I'm sure the dealer has seen plenty of 100HPs to compare with if they say they are all like that.

I remember the first time you posted about this and went out and poked around my seats, no problems. Still no problems. Yours simply should not be like this.
