Been searching the net for the best deal on a Cross, found a few ex-demo's at just under £9000. Most examples seem to be Green, not everybodies cup of tea but suits the car IMO. Would be unfair to say where i saw them for that price though, you'll have to do your own homework!

Colliers Fiat in Birmingham and Arnold Clark

Did somebody say something? ^^

I saw one that was on a particular site for 8999 but suppose its only 500 odd saving on a brand new car that hasnt been out on numerous test drives. Its still going the right way though ..pm me if you see an orange one .. now thats the colour to go for to get noticed! (y)

I loved the Orange when i first saw it, but then i thought the matching interior is a bit bright, plus the Orange may look dated fairly quickly. It is more likely to fade too (long term of course) and doesn't shine as well as it's not metallic. I also like the Green/sand seats in the Green one, quite unique. I think the green looks better dirty too!

Is that the sound of you parting with hard earned cash draigflag87? hehe I will follow suit but just not yet.. i've got a much bigger car with finance outstanding but once thats cleared i think i may take the plunge for a panda cross. You say the cross looks best dirty in green... although i hear that no mk3s have put their name in for a bit of light offroading with the older pands to show em how its done?! Are the mk3s keeping all their 4x4s good for a show and shine?:D

I must wait till the 09 plate comes out. Maybe next year, the credit crunch will force even more huge discounts on all new cars making the Cross even more desirable. I would not be afraid of getting the Cross dirty! Although if i'd bought one with my own dosh, i would be a bit reluctant to take it to the extreme i did in the test car above! (yes, i scratched the front bumper in several places, not used to that ground clearance yet! sshhhh! don't tell anyone!)
