Do they need upgrading? My brakes are more than enough.
Unless you are increasing the engine power or carrying tons of stuff?!
Good luck though.
But always a better brake is needed. It also will strengthen gradually and the engine so I think what is a good step for improvement.
Sorry for my bad english.
I will probably put on uprated pads when it comes to replacement time.
Surely though uprated pads are more likely to squeal as they'll be made of a harder compound and therefore be more prone to scratching/squeaking?Me too - if only to get rid of the stupid squeal!

Driving the Eleganza after the 100hp....It's like there's nothing happening when you press the brake....It feels as though it's not going to stop!
Then when I drive the 100hp again, the first few stops feel like I'm going to headbutt the windscreen! :bang:
I can't imagine you need any more stopping capability, but it will be interesting to see what it performs / looks like....

If I do it, it's mainly for the looks to be honest, I'm hoping to get a few track days in next year
Honestly, as long as the brakes are able to lock up all 4 wheels and sized correctly to prevent fading during spirited driving, your brakes are as good as they're going to get.
Having driven quite briskly in my Multijet, I have yet to feel a lack of stopping power nor have I felt any fading, and the 100hp's ventilated discs are quite a step up from front discs and rear drums!
Bracket after the painting:
Looking good - are these going behind the standard wheels, or have you fitted some with a bigger offset?
