Hi all,

I have just tried fitting my new tuning box to my panda multijet. It's a Bluespark Automotive box and they generally tend to get good reviews.

I fitted it and started it up, guess what?

2 Different engine lights

1. Engine management light accompanied by 'check engine' message
2. Yellow triangle exclamation mark light accompanied by 'engine stop/start not available' message.

Has anyone had these problems either with the new panda or a 500 that can shed any light on this.

The instructions say that if the engine management light shows when you drive the car then it may take say overnight for it to clear.

Mine comes on as soon as I start the engine, so I don't want to drive it with the engine check light on.

I'm not bothered by the stop/start as it's pointless anyway and whoever invented it should be stood against a wall and shot with s*** :D

I mailed the guys at Bluespark and they were 99% certain I had not clipped one of the plugs together properly.

I went back out and fitted the box. Ignition on, no warning lights and everything working as it should :D Makes a difference as well.

More mid range poke, smoother and doesn't run out of puff higher up in the rev range. For the price of the box and the ease of fitting (once you get the hang of it) I couldn't be happier.

I got the BlueSpark Automotive CR Tech 1 box off Ebay.

The guys are brilliant if you need any advice aswell.

Tuning box only increases Rail Pressure. I would recommend you to go for remap. Its about 150€ and you can disable EGR and get much better performance from engine.
