hello everyone, im ross and ive bought a panda today. its a 4x4 sisley and cost £100.

im wanting to learn about mechanics and that, and would like any advice on cheap and easy ways to make my panda go faster.

Also, what are the biggest wheels and tyres that would fit on the car.

:) cheers for the help

Welcome to the fiat forums

4x4 sisley, keep it as normal as possible, this little car will soon be colectable;)

Hi Ross, and a warm welcome.

Dave's right ya know. Sisley's are not very common and because of their tendency to dissolve into piles of iron oxide they will get rarer.

The best thing to do is just to preserve and protect it as much as possible.

Sorry it's not the answer you want to hear :p

i have a sisley does it matter if is accident damaged front o/s (drivers)(i bought it like that!) the fronts been welded (that beam that the secondary catch and bonnet stand rests on) had a new wing and pulled the front back, new lights you cant tell till you lift the lid.
will it do much damage to collectablity price?
what esle should i look for damage wise (i have checked the normal things)

--does anyone have a sisley (o/s/f) seat belt and mechanism--

hi again, thanks for the advice, i will definitely keep any original bits i take off it.

i reckon it might need some wider wheels tho, does anyone know the biggest width tyres pandas take?

Tell us about the Sisley, MOT? condition, colour, year made etc.

I dont know about the widest and biggest, it depends on what modifications you are willing to do and how much you want to spend [8D]

Hi Ross.
My Modded Panda runs on 175/65/13 without modification to the bodywork, and I think the 4x4 will take 185s OK.
I also agree with the others above about keeping it original, but alloys and maybe an induction kit would help. If you do need to improve the brakes, the drilled and grooved discs definately help.
Keep it tasteful!
