Being that far north the snow should be with you on Sunday and last to may...

Merry Xmas and a happy new blah blah, baa humbug to all you classic panda fans.

Thanks to all who support this forum in so many ways.. Giving time, money and enthusiasm. Without you lot where would we be and where would our little cars be!!

Let's make 2014 a great classic panda year with lots of meets, 4x4 off road days and camping trips....(y)

I am just coming to the end of my first year of classic Panda ownership (even though she is still drive-bound) and I feel as though I have gained a new family, which is fantastic.
I am also taking delivery today of an early present to myself, a full-size bottle of argon/CO2 mix and a proper British-made gas regulator to convert my little hobby welder from daft disposable bottles full of crap gas to proper stuff!
I have already burnt a hole through my overalls and 3 layers underneath about 2 weeks ago so I am really getting in to this welding lark!
Merry Christmas to one and all!

Happy nondemoniational seasons greetings and a prosperous Gregorian calendar New Year to all.

Likewise -- as a confirmed atheist and humbug...! :D

Seriously, though: I've made some really good friends in the last year; and learned one heckuva lot (like how much a Selecta clutch costs...) -- as well as had some fun days in the sun (and the NEC). Lots of driving manuals -- to the disgust of my orthopaedic surgeon -- and lots of days where I've got home, aching like heck, but with the biggest smile on my face...! :nutter:

And all because of a little, boxy, occasionally rusty, Italian car, with quirks all its own; and owners with quirks all of their own...! :slayer:

Away in a Panda,
No fuel full of lead
The little vehicle
Leaked again from the head

The bulbs in the bright lamps
Looked down where he puddled
His little mechanic
Completely befuddled

The liquids are flowing
The poor Panda flakes
But the little mechanic
Only sighing he makes

I love thee, my Panda
Leaking oil on the ground
But I know that you always
Will make a strange sound

Be near me, my Panda
I ask thee to stay
Close by me forever
And love me I pray

Bless all the dear drivers
In thy tender care
And take us to Vernon's
To fettle us there

Many Happy Winter Tidings to you all...! :)

(Yes I used to work in the public sector).

A highly "appropriate" greeting.
O'h how I hate how that word, and its negative counterpart "inappropriate" have been commandeered by a certain type of person in the public sector :bang:
Right, wrong, good or bad is never sufficient when you can have appropriate or inappropriate instead.
When's "Grumpy Old Men" back on TV?

Unlikely to make a return, after all 'men' is not terribly inclusive is it? And I don't think referring to anyone as 'old' is very constructive.
Grumpy might still be ok??

....commercial excercise.......being nice to people who generally hate your guts ......rubbish tv under the guise of "specials"........badly cooked sprouts that makes you fart.......drunken idiots in santa hats.....etc etc etc

However I did get employment packing toys for a couple of months which paid for another heap of rusting italian tin on the drive :/
