I was involved in a prang today and it looks like my Country Club will be a write off!
As I have spent some of the day being checked up at the hospital, I haven't had time to inform my insurance - that's a job for tomorrow.

I don't expect to be paid what it is worth to me but I will try and buy it back for renovation or spares. It's only the front end damaged, so I will probably soon have loads of bits for sale!

Meanwhile, I am searching the websites for another Country Club, most likely in Italy. If anyone sees something for sale, please let me know. I hope I get one before it snows! :bang:

Sorry to hear your bad news hope you are OK thats the first thing to be sorted. How bad is the damage:cry: will it not mend its to good a car to let go. Let me know if I can help you(y)

Oh you are kidding, that's a crying shame. Not too many in that nick in this country. As long as you got out safely it's done a good job anyway. Good luck with the rest now.
Andrew.

Sorry to hear this. I saw you at Brooklands a couple of years back and it did look very nice. Can you post some pics of the damage when you're up to it, maybe it is repairable.
Great reg. no. for a 4x4, will you be keeping that?

Sorry to hear the news - I remember seeing the car too (I think it's the same one) when it lived up by Windermere. It looked great. Hopefully you'll find that it's repairable. Glad you're OK though.

We happen to have a Country Club too, as of a month or so ago, but it's one of the first series ('95). Doubt there are many in the UK! Strange coincidence but the reg we were given by the DVLA is slightly 'muddy' too - M---UDB (not nearly as good as yours!).

Best wishes

David
