New to this forum, and it seems you guys will be able to point me in the right direction.

The drivers side lock has inexplicably fallen out of the door. By the lock i mean this section:

This has left this section inside of the door panel:

This bit then proceeded to fall into the door itself, so the inside trim panel was removed, it was retrieved, and the situation became confusing. It is at all times loose inside the door, and is not pushed firmly against the gold door release section. This means that it just falls out freely.

The circled section is the bit which just falls out, and I don't see what is going wrong, hopefully you guys could shed some light on this? Am I missing something to hold it into the lock mechanism?

At the minute, beacuse the other door lock is broken I have to use the boot for entry and exit, otherwise the car is not locked. As you can imagine, this isn't quite ideal!

Thanks for any help in advance.

Hi HT,
This is a file downloaded from German Panda forum. For translatation you could use Google laguage tools.
Quick tip: Search closely bottom of door, possibly the rest of parts sits there!
Here is word doc:

Many thanks for the document, it looks like a replacement drivers side door lock is on the cards, if anyone has one, or knows of where to get one and help would be appreciated.

Sorry to dig up on old thread but wanted to say thanks Aca for the info.

Dismantled my drivers lock on saturday and doubt I would have worked out the pin that needed pulled to allow it to fall apart without that guide.
To further the knowledge out there you can tap the pin out with a nail from the otherside which is easier than pulling it with pliers.

But anyway thanks for the link!
