Hey All
Just managed to get one as a courtesy car whilst my Stilo is having its camshaft variator replaced.
First impressions? Bit too Japanese for me, there are design specs that have blatently come out of the Suzuki design house, and for a European-Car loving person I'm not liking as much. The plastics have been put over to durability rather than quality, an aspect which I suppose works better on this sort of car.
Rear legroom is impressive, boot space is average I suppose. Engine feels perky off the mark but lacks torque, noticable around Torquay's hills. Gearbox is excellent, as are clutch and brakes. Feels very solid and commanding to drive.
Overall? Not bad at all, forget the usual italian interior as it ain't happening, but the Sedici is an excellent entry-point for FIAT into the 4x4 market. Only thing I really hate is the dreadful key; it's big enough to be a key to a city!!!
