Hey guys, I've recently (last year or so) been doing a rather in depth
restoration of a 1978 124 Spyder. We put the block from a '77 in because the
block in the '78 was warped and changed other parts as needed. I have a
miriad of questions surronding the electrical system of the car as I am trying
to wire it all in. and after that I'm going to have to pipe in all the fuel lines
etc. I'm considering buying other shop manuals in addition to the haynes one
that I currently dislike and am wondering what ones, if any, are better. Also I'm wondering if anyone out there has dealt with this specific car so that I might ask a few specific questions about various electrovalves and thermovalves, also sensors, and . . . about a million other things, getting the engine back together and in was relatively easy compared to the horrific task of getting this thing running. Thanks for any help at all, right now i'm just trying not to loathe italians as well as germans (I also have a ten year old bmw.)

Hey Guys, looks like no bites so let me throw out a couple specific questions that I've been having trouble with. What are the sensors below the air intake referred to on the wiring diagram, also, my brake booster seems to be making an odd sound, it kind of sounds like the sound of air escaping a diaphram when I depress the pedal, anybody know what that is all about?. Thanks a lot.
