Hi, I am from Sri Lanka and I own a Fiat Regata 70 which I love very much, however since lately my Carb is giving major problems to which I am wondering if an alternate carb would fit in to replace my WEBER. Any Suggestions anyone??

Problems:

- knocking sound and gives out smoke, then gets smooth.
- When stand behind exaust, the smoke is like tear-gas! burns your eyes and lungs!
- Gives out dark smoke when reving high
- cannot throttle much only slight acceleration hill climbing is with great difficulty..



Please help...

it does not sound as though the carb is the problem.

you can use the carb from any 1.3L regata or ritmo. i'm not sure about other cars that use the same carb.
