Hello
I am new to the forum and to owning a barchetta. I'm really pleased with it and I know they suffer with rust problems so I have had a look and the only place it has it, is in the picture below, however I don't know the name of the part so I cannot research how difficult it it to remove it to replace or treat for rust.

Can any one help me with either the name of the part or if they have any experience of getting it off, it looks like the radiator is sitting on it.

One of the first jobs I did on my b. Every thing unbolted from below the rad stayed in place then I just gave it a good wire brushing and painted it in Hammerite. Would help if you could get it up on a set of car ramps.
