I have just bought a 2006 Grande Punto for my daughter, I only had one key (no blipper)and the central locking doesnt work from either door on the key. Fuses checked and OK, also it locks from the button inside, all doors working. How can I lock the back doors, as the button only works when all doors are shut and any ideas on the central locking?? Thanks

If you don't use rear doors. Lock the car and remove the fuse. Chances are that its either the wiring visible near door hinge when door is open,or the central locking catch its self. Remove door pannel,remove plug on door actuator,remove plug in door. Check continuity between two loom ends. The three wires at the catch are the three thinner out of six wires. On the door plug end(plug facing you,with wire loom going right) two rows up from the bottom,starting from left.think it's pin hole 1&3&6. Use a paper clip to get into plug.
