The rubber trunk release button cover on my 2015 500 Pop fell out and can't figure out how it's supposed to stay on. Will probably just try and glue it back on. Has this happened to anyone else?

No, the one mounted on the trunk lid, underneath the chrome piece just above the license plate.

Sorry, on the earlier cars (here) there is a plastic handle that operates the micro switch, not certain if the newer cars have the rubber button system, the handle type does suffer from dirt ingress and often stops working so may have been redesigned ?
If need be remove the whole silver trim, its only held on by 4 nuts, that will allow you to work on it in a much easier fashion?

It's an oblong shaped rubber insert that covers the trunk release button. It can probably be glued back in but I can't figure out what held it in there to begin with.
