Evening guys, thought i'd drop by and say hello as this forum has been of some help over the past few days for me. Recently acquired a 54 plate 1.2 16v Punto as a run around while i make some subtle changes to my Clio 172.

Hope to catch you round and i'll be having a good browse of the tech sections as i'm sure i'll need to at somepoint

Welcome, any plans for the punto ? or just keeping it standard.

I'm a big fan, too -- having owned a couple (over 15 years apart...). In fact, the Punto replaced a 1994 white 1.4 RT auto....

Once drove one of the early Williams Clios. Scared me witless. Ended up with a metallic blue 1.9 diesel, instead....

I'm hoping that postmanMatt will be starting a 'non-Fiat' thread

Haha not many plans for the punto, probably keep it standard for now. Got my Clio as the fun car and I'm yet to find anything to beat it for fun factor and that includes my classic mini lol

At the risk of offending everyone else on the forum, you are obviously a man with great taste in cars...! :worship:

What spec is your Mini...? (And can you please start non-FIAT Members Motors threads for both that and the Clio, please... -- as well as one for the Punto, of course...?)

Haha thanks, the mini is 1293cc with twin carbs, although currently in bits. I'll get some posts started when I get to a pc as I'm using my phone to access the forums.

The punto needs a good detail session before I'll post any pics as its currently in a sorry state, but for what I got it for I'm not complaining :wink:

This guy has a Punto, Clio and a mini!! I had a Rover Mayfair myself a few years ago. Immense little thing, everything fun you could ever want in a car :thumbup: I also had a little Clio actually...

Yes I sure do and my work horse in the summer months is a suzuki bandit 600cc lol.

Though the mini may well be getting sold in the new year, going to put it back to stock as the engine is worth more to me as it was a home brew build lol.
