Morning, just a quick introduction -

My name is Dave and I have a few 80's / 90's Hot hatches, I acquired a Tipo 2.0ie Sedicivalvole a few years ago, it is Red and covered 44k miles, it had not been used since 1998 just left in the back off an industrial unit.

I had it checked over and put new brake discs and pads, tyres, battery and fuel pump on it. It was also MOT'd and a fresh coat of paint applied, the paint was required due to fading and lots of storage scratches, not rust or rot. Its interior etc. is in superb condition and all the electrics work as they should, it also drives very nice.

I would like to sell the car as it does not fit into my collection and space is getting a bit limited, does anyone know to its value or is anyone interested? I think I may have spent too much money on it but someone will get a great car that is virtually ready to drive and show, it has just passed another MOT so it comes with a full MOT.

It has one problem, there is no power to the fuel pump relay, It has a small remote keyfob that also does not seem to work, can these be reprogrammed? I have put a direct feed to the pump relay and it runs perfectly, I have found fuses under the drivers side but these do not seem to be anything to do with engine electrics, is there another fuse box?

Hope someone can help.

Dave

Hello just saw this on ebay, hopeful price. In the engine bay on the bulk head is the engine loom double relay it control virtually all power to the engine loom coils the lot. Now if it has an aftermarket alarm then that will interupt the fuel pump supply. Figure out if its a security problem first. You could then bypass the immobilised if fitted to the original loom.

Hello Dave,

Nice looking car but I have to agree with Rich over your pricing. The Sedici is a long way off of Strada 130 money at the moment I am afraid!!

Just one question - have you changed all the belts and tensioners? If not you could be heading for trouble after 11 years standing and little earlier history - just my 4 pennies worth!

To anyone else reading this who might remember my user name - "Yes" I still have the black 5 door Sedici, nearly 21 now and 11 years in my ownership although currently "resting"!! I hav'nt posted in ages...................

CHEERS MIKE
