Hi All i am from cape town south africa, there is very little to no support for the fiat ulysse here so any help will be welcomed.

I have taken the cat off the mpv ( it was blocked up ) now the mpv keeps going into safe mode any ideas - its a 2004 2.2 jtd turbo diesel.

Also the tuner on the radio does not appear to get any station just keeps going round any ideas?

which is the right obd2 tool to reset this mpv (safe/limp mode)

anyone know how do i get rid of vertical lines on the small green display that shows you the /radio/etc ?

Thanks a lot

Hillel

You can't just take the (I assume the particle filter AND the cat) cat off - there's a pressure sensor both before and after the thing. Without readings the BSi will put the car into limp mode all the time. Suggest you google for remove FAP for solutions? As for the display, the only way to eliminate the lines is to have it repaired by specialists - or try to find one at a breakers yard. A new one - if you have the small monochrome display - is £450 GBP!
