Hello Friends,
I need help..Mine is Stilo 1.9 JTD active 52 Plate , 98k on the dash. Over the past week, car does not respond to acceleration. It has lost all power at the moment.
Starts OK every time - Boy i am glad for that ....BUT
.. When the accelerator is depressed, Rev just goes up and up .. But little response from engine. I mean car just seems to limp.
- I have cleaned, MAP, MAF and EGR as much as i could, no change.
- I disconnected the MAF sensor( the one near the Airfilter) and tried driving around, no change.
At the moment, car is not drivable, it just revs up and refuses to move.
Can anyone help.. I live in Enfield, Anyone close by to help..
I cant seem to find the overboost valve mentioned in forum.. Could that be the problem? I dont have cables for any diagnostics, hence cant tell if errors are present.
Another thing.. There seems to be a leak of fuel from one of the tubes from the top of the fuel filter to the engine block (dont know the name). Connecter seems to be loose, hence fuel drips off it.
Could this be the cause as well?
Any help or pointers...Please...Can anyone hold me hands on this Journey with a Stilo?.. Thank you.
