I have just purchased a 2010 doblo van 1.6sx diesel. I have only owned it for 5 days. I am finding that it takes a long time to get the engine to warm up. I drove about 3 miles through traffic this morning before it got to temperature. It is very slow in 1st gear and I need to press the accelerator hard to get it to move (feels like driving an elephant!). I also have to reverse it out of my street and it either reverses very slowly or very fast, there seems no inbetween, I am starting to think I have lost my ability to drive sanely!. I have never had this problem on any other vehicle I have driven and have no problems with my car and never had any problems with the 2005 doblo van I owned for 3 years. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem. I have checked the tyre pressures etc as it does feel like the tyres are flat (I also checked to see if the engine had been swapped for a crate of bricks!). I will take it to the fiat dealer I bought it from, just wondered if this might be normal with this van.
