Hi all I'm Ste - new to the world of Fiat's so excuse my very poor knowledge...

Not so new to cars - been driving 8 years started off with a mistake Citroen Saxo 1.1SX, which was "rectified" by a C2 1.1SX then to C2 VTR - which I loved. Gave it a few tweeks ending up with 152 BHP - which was nice...

Then I decided I wanted a little bit fun so got me a Clio 182 (FF) which was good but bored me and I got fed up of the high maintenance costs (petrol and insurance!!) and plus going to be buying my own house soon (I hope). Didn't really do any major mods to the 182 - already has the power and handling so nice custom exhaust and silver indicator bulbs.

Now I'm on to my first none French car - GP Sporting 1.9 - also my first Diesel. So far I've been problem finding/solving. EGR valve replaced (kept and cleaned the old one), replaced hand break cable, replaced all discs and pads, passenger side electric window is knackered - needs fixing but no clue here (garage I bought from will do it though), re-wired the fan as kept cutting out. Finally the good stuff... aero wipers , silver indicator bulbs and smoked side repeaters, soon as funds allow will do rear three tinted windows, cam belt service, GSR induction (met Pete a few times with the C2's and know how good his handy work is) and finally a nice remap, for the remap not sure of any really good places in the Northwest other than RStuning if anyone knows anywhere better let me know - don't really want to drive to Reddot again!

Here's the punto so far mods are black angels, uk legal pressed plates and red footwell lights.

Here's the new motor...

Well that's me! Oh forgot I'm from Dogdale aka Doggers, or to none locals Rochdale round the corner from Manchester. The place where drunk guys steal cars and crash them into bouncers - another great Rochdale story!

Thanks for reading! (Sorry if images are different sizes)

Yeah have changed cars alot this year, on my 3rd...

Looking to keep the punto for a while now (saving for house) - and have to admit its a damn nice little motor, drives well, certainly has some power (sits at lower RPM at 70 than my dads c220 cdi) so ecomeny is good too. Plus it looks the part - only downside is the electrics which so far (might just be mine) seem pretty shoddy... but I can live with that :)

*edit*

Thanks for the welcome too Dave!
