:bang: well were do i start , read facebook and read how much trouble my dad is having with FIAT southport spare parts. join the group FIAT LEMONS on facebook.
This needs to be brought to everyone attention as it is so out of control.

Oh by the way did you all know that fiat dealers make there own price for services for fiat. No matter what.
And the spare parts mananger makes up his mind wether or not things are covered by warranty.
People its time to wake up and take a stand against BIG companys ripping of little people..

Thats just a load of ******** frankly isnt it. A fiat lemon to me is a car that likes to burn down for no reason or absolutely refuses to function as a car at all, ever. It has nothing to do with some possibly poor staff at a dealer somewhere in the world. Here's a tip, try another dealer, there are loads you know.

 Hi Tracy, I do hope there is a Lemons section for all makes?
Actually thats a shame, Fiat did used to have a few reliability and rust issues but not these days. They match any other similar priced Budget brand TBH but as has been said there are some Dealers who seem poor at best, shady at worst.... Now as has been said before try a different dealer, dont give them grief or tar them all with the same brush. Dealerships are not owned by Fiat, they are independent franchises and are at liberty to set their own prices as any other business can.

Chillax pill required.....there is no Rip-off conspiracy here.... noting to make a stand against and wage war on.... A little firm civility goes a very long way in my considerable experience TBH!

Just for the record people, Fiat do a menu pricing for all their servicing.
When you call and say what it is booked in for they go from that menu and tell you time, parts required and also an approximate cost (providing other parts are not required!)
only thing to differ is the labour rate, which is dependant on the area that you live in and what workshops are around that area too.

In reality it should be a set price across the board and many good garage scharge the correct amount which to some seems expensive but your actually getting the service dsone fully to the service schedule.
Along come some big dealership chains and dictate what gets done at the service and at a much lower price. Customer naturally goes for the cheaper price not realising that they are not getting it done to schedule and using often inferior parts certainly not correct oil. Fiat say nothing.
