Hi,

Bought an 06 reg Active Punto Grande in March this year. Lovely car, until it started to go wrong.

I've just had to have new shock absorbers and a new power steering unit (all under warranty thank goodness) for a car I've only had for 3 months!

I was considering getting shot of it already but I must admit now I've had it back in full working order for a couple of days, it's quite a nice ride again

Anybody else had similar problems. I must say on this one that the dealer was less than helpful as well, which surprised me. My previous car was also from them, which I had from new, and the service I got with that was first class for the 3 years I had the car.

Shocks I can believe, IME most Fiats seem to have lots of NVH so dont ride too well.

Who was the dealer? I know of none in these parts, apart from KCS in Kegworth

Sorry to hear you had some problems with your GP, but hopefully it will be all sorted now. Don't despair either as many other new cars can be just as problematic.
