Hi all, I'm new here and also the first time owner of a Fiat (a 1.8 Tempra)...Fiat's are not very common here in the South Pacific so this seems like a good place to learn a bit more about Fiat's without it costing an arm and a leg at the dealership

Thank you for the welcome....forums like this can be very useful for getting and giving help/advice, and best of all they are free!
I bought the Tempra for my daughter to get to uni and back, but it's a bit too hungry on petrol for her (1800cc petrol) so she is using the old 80's Mazda 323 1.5 I bought for her brother (who won't be seen dead in a 'granny's car' lol)....I have a 2005 Mitsubishi Diamante 3.5 V6 but am finding the Tempra a really fun car to drive, especially since it's a manual. I'm more than happy to leave the Mitsi at home and take the Tempra.

When the Mitsi goes (end of this year or early next) I'll definately be looking at a new Fiat as a replacement.
