Hello 'pla folks

Long time no post due to sponsored Toyotas in my life. Yup I'm sorry but they're free and frighteningly reliable.

Anyway pulled the trusty 'pla out from under a pile of leaves and bird poo. No1 injector crap that's easy enough, washer motor shagged, no issue but the most irritating is the winkers relay. Where the hell is it? Or rather, which one is it. I know where the secret hidey hole under the drivers side dash storage is, but there's like 20 relays in there, and normally you could locate it of course because it's clicking, but as it's faulty.... yeah, no click.

Any offers? Ta!

Post has been awhile ago, but I had a recurring prob, works ok for months then stops flashing and the hazzards.
Searched everywhere, the wording is that the flasher relay has been relocated under the steering column.
Undo the 3 screws and its at the top under the steering wheel.
Previous owner must have had a prob cos the cover was missing off the relay.
I levered it out and found broken tags in the socket which I will have to dismantle.
The price of a new relay varies ridiculusly, cheapest from China but will have to use hand signals until it comes? or get one used.

Could be your friend if you still in France.

If you have factory fitted tow bar electrics it could be different.

Is your multi facelift or original?
Have feeling flasher units are the same.

thanks,
its a 3 pin but the likes of auto-doc and Oscaro want €10 for postage, will try a local motor factor.
This relay is common to Fiats and others alike, just whether I have a hitch socket, but if I use leds irrelevant.
I fitted my tow bracket myself.
Mine is a facelift 115hp.
Problem is that one of the spade connectors came out with the relay, so I will have to rebuild the socket.
Have worked on Fiats for over 35 years, retired to France, never want to go back.

OK got a relay from Amazon €6.06 which was too big with the case on, it works now without the case.
On closer inspection found it to be a 4 pin relay, so I ordered two fo €8.38, should be here for Monday 10th aug.
They must have tendancy to fail as there are lots about?
