Hi guys and girls.
I have just got Fiatecuscan and a OBD lead to have a look at my 2001 Multipla 1.9 JTD.
It's all very interesting to me as I've never used stuff like this before but I did notice something when I recorded my first test run and looked at the results.
At really high revs (3000 plus) the engine is asking for more air intake than it is getting. It's fine at lower revs and follows almost exactly what it needs.
Anyone used this software and seen this happening?
I wonder if there is a way to get more air in? Changing air box etc?
Anybody got any views on this?
Thanks for reading :)

Can you tell me where you got your cable from? I can't get the one I've got to work (the port number it's connected to isn't in the drop down list on EcuScan) and I can't seem to change the port.

I've got a bluetooth one which works great with my phone, but I can't run EcuScan on the phone!

I got mine off ebay. Search for VAG COM 409.1 and you'll get lots of sellers to choose from.
What lead have you got?
You should plug the lead into the laptop first without fiatecuscan running, wait for drivers to instal and then check which port it is in using device manager and turn down the latency to 1 in advanced property settings.
Then when you start fiatecuscan it should have that port selected.

That sorted it! (y) Many thanks.

I changed the port it assigned itself in the advanced settings tab from 32 to 30. For some reason, EcuScan can only see up to port 30 on my laptop; as the ELM327 cable had installed itself on port 32, I couldn't select it in the set-up. Now I can go play......
