Anyone had issues with theres??

I think I have one failed injector.... but their different to those fitted to a 1.6 16v Bravo/Brava....

Any clues?

Ive had problems with my injectors (16v 1.6 petrol 2001 elx) their fairly easy to change apart from the odd worn bolt if you need any help email me. it helps if you know which one is faulty but if you can afford it replace all 4.(y)

Thanks for the reply...

I pinched 3 from a scrapped Bravo for the grandly sum of £7... for the lot

It was the injector on cylinder 1... so replaced it and the car is running perfectly now.

But as a side topic found out their the same type of injectors as in the Seicento MPI... but are larger... so am gathering a few more and will fit them to the Seicento to see if it goes any faster (y)

Re: 1.6 16v injectors (no of holes/colour of plugs)

Gonna buy used injectors for 1.6 16v 1999/2000 'w' Trofeo Bravo. Before scrap merchants are able to tell me if they have them in stock (it's a long, long, journey to the dealers!) they need to know the following (which the mechanic is unable to find out without doing some work/charging for labour):

- Number of holes (am I right in thinking there should be 4 on this model)?
- The colour of the plugs

Any ideas gratefully accepted,

Cheers, Simon (y)
