Well i haven't had any pics up for a while so i thought i'd show off the new bits on the cinq.

Firstly, insurance wouldn't allow my strut brace so that came off, (£1200 instead of £750 if i took it off ) which is a bummer!
And they increased the premium by £50 for tints (which i was going off anyway) so they've come off.
Engine wise, the Head i had was shot so i got another one and cleaned it all up, while head was off we sprayed both inlets silver so they're looking nice and new, and sprayed the rocker cover matt red, to match the GSR which imo looks pretty good.
Also took off the bonnet i got from chris, which was a temp replacement while i fixed up my old one, but then got another red one anyway :p
So here he is, surprising how much quieter it is with the new head, going to get a 75 cam in the next few weeks and fit that to add some speed.
Pics:

bonnet (which i did like on tbh but looked a bit boy racery on a red car)

personally i love it... would like to do something like that to mine, but cant justify spending that much more money on it.

only thing i will say about the front is that you will need some hardcore up-rated cooling system... the abarth apron can make the car run slightly hotter at the best of times, blocking off the vents at the top would only increase this!

does look quality tho (y)

yea man i was thinking this tbh, if i did it i'd have to either make the mesh a bit taller or something, but i think it looks amazing, although it will probably never be done tbh.

Looking smart craig, still haven't sprayed that bumper i got off you yet . As for smoothing abarth front, I say go for it, just make sure you have both arches vented, the lower temp Thermostat, Punto GT fanswitch, alloy radiator and maybe get a few louvres or raise the back of the bonnet slightly to let the air escape, and it should be OK.
