a pic like that demonstrates perfectly why i think the GP is a steaming pile of crap, it doesn't even compare to the sexyness of the mk2, and even the mk1 is better looking. its all gone wrong, WRONG I TELL YOU.

The GP is a great car, and i'm not saying this to be childish or anything but personally i don't like the bravo - its just my opinion as is yours. Fiat have shown that they can keep up with modern styling with the GP and have produced something that stands out and is different from other small cars like the fiesta, corsa etc etc which are quite bland.

Lol mixed opinions then. Dont see whats so bad about the new punto myself (maybe becuase i bought one lol), and as anstey said its better than any of fiats rivals small cars. I could've ended up buying a Ka, or a Polo for the same price with a lower spec on them.

got to say the mk1 is the PUNTO of the group there
you just can't beat though's mk1 timeless curves' (like bravo's aswell, the new one is going to be fab as a car, but will kill the bravo concept no doubt )
the mk2 was just like a big cinquecento and to be frank the interiors aren't very inspired (the mk1 when it came out in 93 was like some kind of a futuristic italian artgallery on wheels! espeically that curvasous dash!)
the mk3 is generally good as a car, better ride, better engines, better gearbox (finally!!) and better road holding than most before it. but still, if you saw a light silver one with cheap dirty wheels fly past would you look a second time and say, ohh what was that? I think not, you'll disregard it as looking like a fiesta/focus/206 mish mash of curves and blob's! only the sporting looks good as its got some angles in it!!

yeh the GP looks huge, my mk2.5 is just the right size for me
the mk1 does look tiny compared to the grande punto! lol
