Am I right in saying that yours is the 1.2 8v and not the 1.2 16v? If so whats it like to drive on the 17s?

17's isnt really a problem, just a little slow taking off, but you learn to adjusting your driving style slightly, probably just like having a full load in the car. havent really spent that much. biggest expense was wheels at £400, radio was about 150ish with £50 for ipod interface. sub and amp total 100-120. cant remember. oh its got a cat one alarm fitted with window closure aswell, really cool feature. I love my car.

window closure the one where if windows are open when alarm activated they just close themselves? cause thats mint!

yeah thats right when I lock the doors, alarm activates, hold the button down for 1 sec and windows close, I love it. really cool when walking away from my car.

looking good, but get a higher spec front bumper, im not a fan of those ones! (just ask simon )

oh ok cheers for the advice, i've been looking for something better, thought I may smooth the bump strips and fit spliter , but i'm not sure,

I still love the look of the Active Sport front bumper

My opinion would be to lower it, which you've got in hand!

....then colour code the rear rub strip, nice exhaust - nothing to big! Then at the front end i say new bumper - if the do an abarth or the HGT bumper looks quite sporty and a new grill like crazy's but tht ud be my choice, stubble not OTT

New grill would be great, been looking around for one without the fiat badge, or a HGT one, dunno! are the same fitment, anyone? Quiet fancy upgrading interior for the sporting one, blue/black as mine is black/grey at the moment and a little basic. Cheers for the comments

new grilles, got mine from absmotorsport.net, lad on here is the brains behind it Bodystylist i believe. think there are about 3/4 aftermarket ones at min, each without the badge i have the cadamuro grille on mine. (pics are in my gallery) i dunno if the sporting interior is different to mine (dont think it is, other than white dials and that, but the seats i think i have the ones ur on about) they are quite nice seats, i have the blue and black ones but dont think il be changing them
i have the active sport bumpers and will be changing them at some stage, problem there though is they are metalic black

With regards to the grille, I have crazydaves old Active Sport one on mine and I like the look of it. It still has the Fiat badge but its the honeycomb effect grille rather than the horozontal lines.

For the interior remember that pretty much every single part of the mk2 interior can fit into the mk2b without any modifications. On that note I would suggest you got your hands on the seats and doorcards from a mk2 HGT, they are gorgeous and really hug you

*EDIT* I've been meaning to ask you how the mods on yours have effected your warrenty. What has the dealership said to you about the mods?

Warranty, whats one of them paaaaaaaah i laughed at fiat when they said you can extend the warranty to a 5yr one, i nearly cried when they said they had given me a 3yr one as it was like a jail sentence. nah they were pretty leniant with what i could do

mk2 HGT door cards how are these different to the standard ones? have they got like a seperation part in the middle? and door cards cant hug u the HGT/sporting/Active sport seats can, yet so can a woman
