Thanks for the interesting read (y) (y) (y)

Now just have to get you to a few meets/shows so we can see it in the flesh :D :D

It is always a heartache when something happens to a car, but its amazing how things can turn out for the better!

I backed my Punto into the back of a lampost at quite a speed, denting the boot hatch and pratcially destroying the rear bumper. I had to have a new bumper, the dent removed from the boot and then resprayed. The good part that came out of it I lost all the scratch marks left by the previous owner off the boot and bumper and got my boot debadged in the bargain!

It sounds like you are very passionate about your car. I saw it in Redline a few months ago and was very impressed with it. It has obviously been worth everything that you have been through and you must have learn't a lot about your car from it! Keep up the good work, am sure nothing can go wrong now!

I've just reinstalled the Nitrous oxide. Going to test it tonight! Had the bottle re-filled with Nitrous Oxide Supplies, very happy with their service. Everything seems to be working with the car.

Few little bugs, noticed that 3 out of the 60 odd 3mm LEDS that I've soldered onto the instrument panel are flickering annoyingly. Not sure but the sound of the XBOX went off for a few seconds twice whilst I was driving recently, going to check up on that.

Unfortunately, the 1.8 was damaged, parts were missing etc. I never did get the 1.8 in.

Fixed the instrument panel.

Nitrous made my clutch slip. Uprating time :D

*BUMP*

I STILL have this car...to be honest I haven't done many miles in it since last posting on here :D

If memory serves me correct she's done around 28000-29000 miles in total. HOWEVER, as is usually the way with heavily modified cars this CAR MUST GO eventually, as we have a baby on the way. I did try a few years ago to sell this vehicle as a whole but I was getting silly offers £500-£1000 for it. Yes, I understand that when you modify a car you are applying to a niche market but I was not going to get rid of it for peanuts.

SO here's the plan I'm selling most of the interior parts. Practically everything is up for grabs. I'll be selling all of the parts below on Ebay if nobody is interested on here. As a side note, now this Punto is empty (other than two seats and a partial dash) it certainly is a bit nippier :)

FOR SALE:

-(Interior)- 1. Standard seats re-trimmed in grey/black leather 2. Door cards (re-trimmed in grey leather w/FIAT SILVER fibreglass sills) and Richbrook door pins 3. Interior sprayed in Fiat Silver inc. centre console (houses PIONEER SCREEN), door handles, sill covers, foot vent covers etc. *

-(ICE) - 1. Alpine CVA 1014rb head unit 2. Pioneer AVD-W6201 6.5in monitor (fits into centre console) 2. SVHR7m 7.5in Lanzar monitor (fits into own fibreglass holder) 3. Pioneer 20cm 350max rear speakers 4. FOCAL door components 5. Alpine V12 MRV-340 6. Alpine CHA-S634 CD/MP3 changer 7. Auto Acoustics Stealth shelf

I intend to sell these items individually on Ebay over the next few months however if anyone here is interested in these parts, I'll be happy to answer any questions and send any pictures of these items. However, no matter what these items will only be purchased through Ebay.

Cheers!
