They don't fit at all, they're even too wide to fit in the space with the adjustment wheel sticking out. Looks like I'm going to have to sell them on .

The stereo went in amazing & looks/sounds great (I'll whack up a video soon). I've also tinted the rear lights very dark and added a light smoke to the headlights.

Nice contrast between the black and red.

I saw someone online who had fitted them to the fronts. Thatís strange. Iíll maybe just try and get a hold of a sporting set then!

I plan to tint the rear lights, front and side indicators.

Just getting the time!

I feel you in regard to finding the time, I should be focusing on my studies

I think i'm going to turn them into 'trendy' seats for the man cave if I can't sell them on.

Tinting the sei rear lights with vinyl is tricky because of the 'bumps', set aside a decent amount of time & grab some decent quality tint.

A little nugget update:

Swapped out the Gauges for red Lockwood ones today.

I think they look ace!
They really help create 'sporty' connotations in the interior & go beautifully with my Sparco steering wheel.

I'm finishing up fitting the schumacher interior pieces (pedals, gear surround & handbrake) and will update with a pic once those are all in.

Why do people tint their lights?

"You know, I think what my car needs are lights that are more difficult for people to see"

They look rubbish, too.

Not necessarily.

I keep stnd lights with stnd bulbs OR I tint my lights and fit brighter led bulbs so that Iím more visible when braking and travelling at night but during the day I still achieve the overall look of the car.

I take your point but that care is needed.

Actually, Iíve only got a very light smoke on the fronts, all light shines perfect through the tears too.

Each to their own and all that...

Light smoke and 'all light shines through' are mutually exclusive!

I suspect they're a C&U fail, too.

May as well drive around with a big 'nick me' sign on the roof.

The police officer who complemented me on them the other day may tell you otherwise.

ďThe UK doesnít have any laws that completely ban headlights or rear tints, but there are rules in force that restrict the kind of modifications you can make to your car lights.

The tint canít dim lights by more than 50%. You should still be able to see most of the light coming throughĒ

This is exactly what I've done, xenon bulbs that are much brighter fitted first

I spent hours yesterday removing hid lights from my coupe as they were flickering and not working and swapped to more expensive led bulbs. Much better and plan to do the same for the seicento.

My Bonnet badge was in dire shape so i've refinished it in black.

The car's starting to feel more 'put together now'.

OBD Gauge installed this morning!

Now I can keep an eye on coolant temp, anyone know the level at which the temp light comes on so I can properly set the parameters?

More to come....

Cheap ebay front skirt fitted to fantastic results!

Starting to run out of things to do with her now!

After a quick phone call with my insurance providers, she could be making a nicer noise very soon though!....

Re: My Seicento Sporting "The Nugget"

Some BIG updates at Nugget HQ!

First of all the Nugget has had a proper exhaust mod! (Cleared with the insurance of course)

This comes in the form of an aftermarket back box that I bought off a bloke on FB Marketplace who was breaking a sei.

It's not 'branded' (I didn't want to do a whole sportex cat-back conversion & couldn't get a janspeed back box anywhere) and I was a bit worried about the car sounding too 'ASBO' but boy am I happy with the result. It sounds much deeper and a bit louder but it's not over the top in the sound department. I think it looks pretty cool & unique too:

Here's a before and after:

Before:

After:

I think it sounds ace! Best mod I've ever done I'd say!

Next up, I painted the speaker grille bolts red & paired them with a new 'Fiat Abarth' Decal to spruce up the interior as well as putting in all the Schumacher trim pieces bar the handbrake cover which I still need to get to.

Also noteworthy in the pic is the sleek sony stereo I put in then forgot to film and post on here like I said I would - I will do soon, I promise

In other news, I picked up a set of 4 14" Wolfrace Rims for £50 that I've 'refurbished' & resprayed In black as well as having the tires changed.

Unfortunately, I decided to treat them to 4 new tires after the respray & the guys who changed them scratched some of the paint where the rim meets the tire (right in the very corner folds) getting them off. I've since touched them up & they're back to ship shape!
The 'Davanti' tires were the best I could afford and have been getting positive reviews so here's hoping they perform well!

They're not perfect, but a valiant effort for me personally & will look damn good on the car. They were in Really bad shape when I got them (hence the price) but they look so good now.

Next up is to paint the Calipers Red & Put the wheels on with the new wobble bolts I've bought.

I've also got custom stickers for the Facebook Group I run for cento owners in Wales - 'CentoCymru', so one of them will be going on a side window and a FiatForum Sticker (I've just ordered one) will go on the other.

It's all going on over here! I'm all guns blazing to get The Nugget ready for its first FIAT meet in March.

I never thought this little car would come this far. I really am running out of stuff I can do now, I'm sure I'll always find something though
